Hansel & Bretzel
A downloadable game for Windows
Play as the infamous witch in the Hansel and Gretel tale. Catch the reckless children who dare to walk in front of your house, feed them some tasty soup to make them fat and plump then roast them nice and crispy.
Eating is "the name of the game". Eat or die.
Game instructions and hints :
Can be played with a controller or WASD+left mouse button, menu navigation is with the mouse even if you play the game with a controller.
- Catch children, lock them up
- Collect mushrooms for the soup
- Feed the soup to the caught children
- Once they are fed enough soup, a burping sound will let you know that they are ready for roasting

This game was made during a weekend for the Epic Game Jam 2022.

This was a short and fun horror game about kidnapping children, cooking food for children and then eating them. This was actually really challenging and fun where the hunger bar for the witch goes down so quickly that it makes the player feel stressed to do as much as possible to stay alive. Would be cool if we could cook multiple servings of food with such a big pot XD.

Hello, thank very much for trying out our game. You might like another horror game made by the same team during a different game jam. It's called "Vulnerable" it's also available on itch.io. This one is quite scary, best played in the dark with headphones.
